Leadership for Missouri’s Future
I grew up in Southern Platte County and attended St. Therese Parish School – Parkville, where I am now a parishioner. I am the son of Fred and Marty Pouche, longtime residents who have been actively involved in the local community, particularly the Platte County Republican Party, for over 35 years, where my father Fred Pouche is a former Platte County Auditor, and retired member of the Missouri House of Representatives.
Attended Rockhurst High School in Kansas City graduating with the school’s honors in Physics. Due to academic achievements, I was nominated to the U. S. Merchant Marine Academy, Kings Point, NY, and the U. S. Naval Academy, Annapolis, Maryland, by Sen. Kit Bond and Congressman Tom Coleman, of Missouri. In 1995, I graduation from the Merchant Marine Academy, with a bachelor of science degree and a commission in the U.S. Naval Reserve.
After graduation, I returned home to Platte County and worked as a merchant mariner with the riverboat casino operations at both Sam’s Town, and Harrah’s Casino in the Kansas City area, before taking a position with the Argosy Casino in Lawrenceburg, Indiana. There, I worked my way up to captain of the vessel, piloting the Ohio River.
After my Iraq tour in 2012, I returned to Platte County to work in the family business, (Platte Rental
& Supply of Parkville, MO). Also after returning served with the Southern Platte County Fire Protection District as a volunteer. I have two children, Joclyn (13), and Will (12). I have been actively involved in politics at an early age working on my father’s local and state
campaigns here in Platte County. In 2016 I was a Republican candidate for State Representative in the
14 th . Legislative District.
As a faithful loving father, I believe in serving our community, both militarily and politically, and doing so with my word as my bond. Let me be your voice for change!

Military Service and Honors In 2010
As Lt. Commander in the Naval Reserve, Sean was mobilized to serve in Iraq. He served as
advisor to senior U.S. Army and Navy Commanders, along with other participating NATO Countries, and
the Iraqi Navy Command in Baghdad.
In recognition of his service, Sean was promoted to full
Commander and awarded the Distinguished Meritorious Service Medal for his service in Iraq.
He
continues to be active in the Navy Reserve and recently served as Executive Officer of the Naval Reserve
Unit in Kansas City, Missouri.
