
ABOUT REP. SEAN POUCHE
Sean Pouche is a former U.S. Navy Commander and veteran of the Iraq War awarded for Distinguished Meritorious Service. During this time, he served as advisor to U.S. and NATO commanders in Baghdad. Today, he serves as a Missouri State Representative for Buchanan and Platte counties.
As a native Platte County citizen, Pouche attended Rockhurst High School and graduated from the Merchant Marine Academy. Upon his return from military service, he began working in his family's local business, Platte Rental and Supply. Sean is the proud father of two, a Knight of Columbus, and a member of the American Legion. He is also a former volunteer for the South Platte Fire Protection District.
Since first elected in 2020, Rep. Sean Pouche has made the defense of civil liberties the cornerstone of his platform; upholding constitutional rights remains his top priority. Likewise, ensuring quality education for Missouri students and supporting local economic development are two core pillars of his political agenda. He continues to fight tax hikes and hold government spending accountable in the Missouri House.
Pouche believes that our communities flourish when we work together to enact commonsense policies that benefit hardworking families and respect the core principle of personal freedom.
